First of the artworks to be created in the SAHS SCAAC Legacy Art Card Project by Bezalel Levy of Stanwood House Gallery.

Our FNCC Second Floor Exhibit Room now features objects and the artworks created by the collaboration of the Stanwood Camano Arts Advocacy Commission and the Stanwood Area Historical Society.

Earlier this years local artists were asked to create two dimensional art works that illustrate some of the historical objects on display in our collection. Artists visited and selected objects that inspired them to paint their own version. One of the first that was completed was a beautiful 1920 beaded lamp.

A series of postcards has also been been designed featuring the artworks and the historical objects that inspired the works. Postcards will be available for purchase soon….More to follow
