Thurs., Oct. 22nd 6 pm – Annual Trustees at the Floyd<\/strong> Norgaar\"\"d Cultural Center –
All members welcome.\u00a0 If you are thinking of joining, you can sign up that evening to have a vote for new officers.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0Sunday, 4 pm Nov. 8th – History Lecture:<\/em>\u00a0 \u201cFire on the Flood Tide, How Events of the Early 1800s affected the Stanwood Area\u201d <\/b>\u00a0
Speaker: Tug Buse, Historian. <\/b>The program will feature his discoveries of incredible events buried in the historical record for over 200 years. Among the items displayed for the program are several antique weapons of the era from his collection.\u00a0 Tug Buse is an historian and researcher\/storyteller of marine history and explorations of the early 1800s<\/p>\r\n

Saturday, December 5th, 10 – 1 pm
Old Fashioned Christmas at the Floyd – Visit from Santa Claus with pictures.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\r\n

On December 19, 2026\u00a0 Stanwood VFW Post 12228 WA0256P and our Veterans Memorial Committee will be helping the community to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes
