This is hand tinted panoramic photograph of Cama Beach Resort from water (Saratoga Passage) Envelope that contained negatives was dated 8/12/1934 Photograph was taken from waterline towards shoreline in front of bungalows looking south towards cabins on the point. This photograph hung unframed on south wall of resort store thumbtacked to the wall for over 65 years. It was used in publicity brochures. Tinting shows red roof shingles on bungalows and other buildings. Cama boat #M6347 is tied to the float or dock (with diving boards) off shore. Swimmers and boats are in the water enjoying sunshine. Automobiles are parked on beach near the cabins and bungalows. Photographer was possibly LeRoy Stradley. |
