Dedication of the Community Veterans Memorial

Three and 1/2 years ago Bill Keller and Jim Joyce began the project of creating a small park at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center to be dedicated to the memory of local Veterans who lost their lives in the wars protecting American interests all over the world. The memorial area has a new flagpole and granite monuments to these heroes and will soon be a quiet place to stop and reflect on our history and role of our men and women who have served.
To fund this small park, individuals, students, community organizations and businesses have donated their time and funds towards its construction. There is a wall to be completed soon with commemorative bricks with the names of any Veteran, from anywhere, who served in war or peace.

Though the bricks will not be on the wall yet, they will be on display in the FNCC at the event and it is possible to still order bricks with names of veterans.
Contact us or Bill Keller or Jim Joyce for details.  Click here for Bricks of Remembrance Order Form.
